Appeal to the Tamil Nadu government, let the neighboring states live like their brothers!
Neighboring states have appealed to the Tamil Nadu government to live like their brothers.
Speaking at the KPCC office, he said that the Mekedatu project will not cause any problem to Tamil Nadu. 1000 Crore grant was earmarked in the state budget after we marched to demand the Mekedatu project. However, he said that it was not spent.
We have no hatred towards Tamil Nadu, we don't want to fight with them. Those who are there are our brothers and sisters. The brothers and sisters of those who are there are here. "There is no need to be jealous of anyone," he said.
"Mekedatu Yojana is our plan. Tamil Nadu will also benefit. They also benefit from water that goes to the sea. We can help all farmers in Kaveri Basin. The lock is not near us, it is near the central government. We have already ordered to release as much water as we want to them. We will protect our state. He asked if there is any loss due to the construction of a hydroelectric plant in our country.
The closure of the dams on the Cauvery River is in the hands of the Central Government. He said that he will decide when and how much water to release. What is the problem for them by starting a power generation plant in our state? The judgment said that we can supply drinking water by conserving water.
So people of Tamil Nadu need not worry. There is no problem for Tamil Nadu from this project. May Tamilnadu have rich hearts. So we also have richness of heart. It is enough that we quarreled and roamed the court office.
Deputy Chief Minister D.K. said to cooperate with the project to benefit the farmers of Tamil Nadu with drinking water. Sivakumar appealed.
